kaiocool
HHmm.... What do I have to do to become a linux master? I am planning on learning C++, Java, Perl, and PHP(you love PHP), over the summer, I figure the first three would help me to become good at linux. I know hanging around this board would help too! But you see, I want to actually reap the goodness that Linux presents, and not have to kill myself over ATI drivers, which by the way, if anyone has a surefire way of doing it, please, PLEASE send me a message AIM: kaiocool Yahoo: kaiocool Email: kaiocool@yahoo.com you get the idea.... I think I should trademake kaiocool, I think I am one of the rare few that really stick with a true screen name. Anyway... So mastering linux what else to it? journeys1
to become a linux master, wouldn't that take years and years of use, etc.. Is that like becoming a karate master? or does anybody really become a master at anything! B)
kaiocool
good point, I just want to get really really fluent.
iphitus
To become fluent you must learn Linux Zen Be one with the command line OK, enough of my corny jokes, use the commandline for just about everything you can. And try other distros, If you want a challenge or to go somewhere you have to use the commandline, go arch, slack or debian. Make your own choice, they each have their advantages. iphitus
