So there's this voodoo 4 card I found lying around and decided I was finished playing with freebsd. Mandrake 10 came out... 4 iso's later, I am finally loging in to KDE. Xfree lists the card and allows me to select it. Everything else on the system works fine (except multitasking active windows makes the sound choppy from totem with either a movie or an mp3) Anything requiring 3d acceleration chugs along at ~2 fps I have read tons of things on this... but I am a little hesitant to use the only driver package I found for redhat 7 So if anyone has sucessfully configured a voodoo card in mandrake 10 please let me know at least where to start.
