Andrewski
Yes, I know, the answer lies in boot floppies. I just tried tonight with 10.0 CE, but it didn't really like it. I got a nice big "Syslinux Mandrake 1.67 [or something like that] failed" (OK, so it was the same size as everything else). I imagine the same will happen with OE, so can anyone offer any tips on getting a working Mandrake installation with this old laptop? Dell Latitude LM Pentium 166 Edit: I meant to ask: I don't know much about laptops, but should the cdrom.img be enough to install from a CD-ROM that fits in the slot for the laptop? Andrewski
Nevermind, I just tried booting with 10.0 OE with no problems. Now I just have to find the time to actually do the install... something about old computers running kind of slowly?
