You need these rpms installed

[bvc9@localhost bvc9]$ urpmf XftConfig

XFree86:/etc/X11/XftConfig

XFree86:/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XftConfig

[bvc9@localhost bvc9]$ urpmf fonts.conf

fontconfig:/etc/fonts/fonts.conf

[bvc9@localhost bvc9]$ urpmf /etc/X11/fs/config

XFree86-xfs:/etc/X11/fs/confi

XFree86 (you have, so you should have /etc/X11/XftConfig and /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XftConfig)

fontconfig (available to you now through texstart source: if you added)

XFree86-xfs (this you should already have as well)

To see, in a terminal type

rpm -q fontconfig

and

rpm -q XFree86-xfs

You should get something like;

[bvc9@localhost bvc9]$ rpm -q XFree86-xfs

XFree86-xfs-4.2.1-3mdk

[bvc9@localhost bvc9]$
