lets-eat-gary
hi people, Having a major problem with NVU (the web editor). I download the following file from www.nvu.com - nvu-0.20-pc-fedora2t1.tar.gz When i try to run it (sh nvu) i get the following message 'nsNativeComponentLoader: GetFactory(libwidget_gtk2.so) Load FAILED with error: /home/morgan/nvu-0.20/libgtkxtbin.so: undefined symbol: gdk_threads_lock' Anyone any ideas of what i should do - i urpmi'ed gtk2-devel - still not working. On another note has anyone here tried Ark linux ??? I know it's in Alpha stage of development but it sounds like a great version of linux - anyone have any good/ bad stories? Cheers Guys
SoulSe
I'm sure you need to install it first. Try: # tar -xzf package.tar.gz # cd directory # ./configure # make # make install Otherwise track down an rpm. http://www.rpmfind.net/
devries
No need to compile :) Try linking libwidget_gtk.so to libwidget_gtk2.so instead.

devries
Sorry, I was bit to quick there. Forget the part about libwidget_gtk.so . I checked where I had libwidget_gtk2.so. It's in the nvu-0.20/components folder. It also comes with mozilla (/usr/lib/mozilla-1.6/components/). Look if you have it in your components folder, if you have, try installing mozilla. Good luck
