Guest fry26 Posted June 1, 2004 Report Share Posted June 1, 2004 Oh, I sent a bug report to SuSE (the problem appeared on SuSE 9.1). I hope they'll fix this ... Until that I simply can't use the harddrive (iPod) on this machine. Fortunately I also have a notebook with a Sony firewire chipset which works flawlessly with the new kernel. To get more information about your firewire card just type "lspci" (as root).
