emh
I'm going to upgrade to some form of Mandrake 10 in the near future. What I'm wondering is: I happened to stop by urpmi.org to get new mirrors for my current 9.1 install, and there are several choices: 10.0 community, 10.0 official, community, cooker. What's the difference between all of these?
liquidzoo
10.0 Official (OE) is the latest, Official release from Mandrake 10.0 Community (CE) was the release prior to 10.0 Official Not sure what the community edition that's listed there is. Cooker is all development. It's a testing release. What happens here may or may not make it into the next Official release, depending on the performance of the application. Also known as 'bleeding edge'

Ixthusdan
Mandrake 10 OE is not in public release as yet. Club members and some pay sights have it. Should be out this month. So the only download at the moment is mandy 10CE
jalos
Mandrak 10 official can be downloaded from ftp (wget -rm). But not the iso images. Actually it took me 3 or four days from the taiwnaeese ftp site. You need all the i586 directory (except the SRPMS) In the images directory (ftp.isu.edu.tw/pub/Linux/Mandrakelinux/official/10.0/i586/images), there is the boot.iso image to install from the hard disk. I installed succesfully to a lap-top sharing the directory with nfs
