Guest agent008
I just got a brand new Toshiba laptop, and Mandrake installed fine. There is one slight problem, however. The viewable area is shifted off the top of the screen by 7 or 8 pixels. I thought that this would be no match to the almighty power of xvidtune. When I went to run xvidtune, it returned nothing more than this "Floating Point Exception." I have heard of this sort of thing happening in xvidtune before. Does anyone know of a solution? The graphics card is a ATI Radeon Mobility M6-P. Thanks for your time.
Guest JeremyG
Sorry but I can't help you with that. I haven't run into it yet. But I have a question for you. I have a Toshiba laptop as well and I was wondering if sound works for you? Cause I can't get it to work on mine.
Guest agent008
Sound works great on my laptop. Its a Toshiba Satellite 1905-S303. I'm running MDK 9.0 and the latest stable KDE. Wish I had my top 7 pixels though. :(
