Dr. Ephemeron
Wow I just ran an update on 10 CE and there are 11 updates and all 11 of them have bad signitures. I tried another mirror and got the same thing. Geez what is up with that... ridiculous!

bvc
Geez what is up with that... ridiculous! why do you want the sig's? Do you know what they are? Edited April 28, 2004 by bvc
Lord Kenneth
The parameter "--no-verify-rpm" just assumes yes on all of them. So if you're updating everything append that on the end.
Dr. Ephemeron
Geez what is up with that... ridiculous! why do you want the sig's? Do you know what they are? The whole point is that there are only 2 rpms with missing signitures but Mandrake update says that all files have missing signitures, when in fact they have signitures. Fill us in as to why we don't care about the signitures instead of trying to piss me off. Edited April 29, 2004 by Dr. Ephemeron
Qchem
Have you imported the keys for whoever produces the packages? I guess that would be Mandrakes public key....
WilliamS
I imported gpg keys and still get the same problem. mdk has bungled and ain't fixing its problem.
iphitus
They keys on the packages are just to verify that it came from a good source. However for it to accept the keys, you need to import them on your computer. If it is an official mirror you will be fine and it is not worth the effort -- heck, i dont even know how to Dont worry bout the keys, i have been using mandrake since 8.2 and have always ignored the keys, bvc has used mandrake for longer and neither of us have had any problems with ignoring the keys iphitus
