Guest pipplo
None of my apps which use video4linux will work any longer after updating my system using urpmi --auto --auto-select Any idea? Xawtv compains about not fiingin /dev/v4l/v4l0 (something like that i'm not sure if i recall exactly) It seems video4linux is included in the kernel, so where did the symlinks go? or what is missing? Guest pipplo
Anybody? I'm having this problem with gentoo as well now. (new install) for some reason /dev/video0 or /dev/v4l/* aren't being created and I'm not sure what is supposed to create them Maybe it upgraded Xfree, since ati.2 only works with 4.3 not 4.4.. aRTee
That kind of devices often get created when loading the related module, try modprobe v4l (may also be v4l2 or so)
