baldur
Hi , I've accidently used drakconf to configure http_proxy but now I don't know how to cancel it. when I use nmap to scan my computer I get this port 8080 open 8080/tcp open http-proxy which is not a good thing as I need to reserve this port for my Tomcat. I wish I could turn off the http-proxy thing so I tried to find out where the http_proxy environment variable is set but could not find it. But apparently it has been set by something. # env |grep -i http http_proxy=http://192.168.0.1 I checked the /etc/init.d to see if any proxy related service is using port 8080 but could not find any clue. Any suggestion? Thank so much.
baldur
sorry folks my bad. It was the firewall that prevent me from accessing 8080. Thanks anyway
