aru Posted April 6, 2004 Report Share Posted April 6, 2004 I have these two (one is a dvd-rw) installed on my system, both have run w/o problems in 9.1 and now in 10.0 the models are: $ cat /proc/ide/hd{c,d}/model HL-DT-STDVD-ROM GDR8162B _NEC DVD_RW ND-1300A I don't know which are their comercial names, but a google search with those strings will send you to their manufacturers pages.
