Michel Posted March 30, 2004 Report Share Posted March 30, 2004 (edited) Heya, I'm trying to make some rpm's and with some (2 now: xine-lib and arson). I'm having problems. During compiling (at the end while linking?) libtool is called with "--tag=CXX". Libtool says it doesn't recognize the option. That seems true since it isn't listed when doing "libtool --help". The strange thing is that it doesn't give this error when just doing "make, make install". Then, it installs just fine. I have upgraded to libtool 1.5.2 (libtoolize says it is 1.5.2, libtool still says 1.4.3..which is strange, but I checked my rpm and it says it installed /usr/bin/libtool and there were'nt any conflicts as dar as I can remember. I mostly try to solve it then :)). If anyone wants to help me with this --tag=CXX-error...tx.
