Rom Raptor
if you want to contact the mandrake team with suggestions or complaints, how do you do it? any e-mail?
aRTee
For features, you can use http://qa.mandrakesoft.com To tell them to get a clue on marketing and such, no one here knows... :P You might try the mandrake forums, linked through from the official website... For complaints: it seems they fall on deaf ears in many cases. Sorry if this comes across as too cynical.... but along with many other board members here I think that MandrakeSoft is not very much in touch with their users. I do like the distro a lot, and the developers earn their bread in my opinion. The company just leaves quite a bit to be desired...

scoopy
To tell them to get a clue on marketing and such, no one here knows... :P I think they are trying to listen. That is why we now have a Community Edition and a Final Release. (AND we see how that worked out, did we not?) A component would be like rpmdrake or rpmtools is to the product rpm. WSGrant
Sorry if this comes across as too cynical.... but along with many other board members here I think that MandrakeSoft is not very much in touch with their users. I do like the distro a lot, and the developers earn their bread in my opinion. The company just leaves quite a bit to be desired... I have been messing with Mandrake since 7.2 release off and on. The one thing that keeps me from purchasing directly from them and "club" membership is becasue all of the folly I have seen go on over the years with Mandrake's poor customer service. I am in a position to where I can bundle Mandrake with a new PC (OEM Sysyem Builder) but I hesitate due to the issues I have seen in the past, i.e., unanswered e-mails, Mandrake-Expert's cryptic solutions, etc........ Anyone know of a good distro for an OEM System Builder to bundle and receive proper support??
