Hey all, I'm having a problem with installing the new gimp 2.0. I have installed

atk-1.2.4, glib-2.2.0, pango-1.2.5, but cannot get gtk+-2.2.0 to go. Here is the

error I get:

checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... (cached) yes

checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config

checking for glib-2.0 >= 2.1.4 atk >= 1.0.1 pango >= 1.0.1... Package atk was not found in the pkg-config search path.

Perhaps you should add the directory containing `atk.pc'

to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable

No package 'atk' found

configure: error: Library requirements (glib-2.0 >= 2.1.4 atk >= 1.0.1 pango >= 1.0.1) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

[root@localhost gtk+-2.2.0]#

How do I correct this? Thanks for any advice!

Ok....I have all the most current packages and have them installed. At least

I think so, I didn't get any errors. Now when I try to install gtk+-2.4.0 I get

the exact same error message. If atk is installed, why is this still happening?

Thanks again!
