norris1976
Hi there! New user here - just installed Mandrake 10 last night. But how do I open OpenOffice?? This is a very silly question, but I have tried goign to the menu's and I can't see it anywhere. Perhaps I am too used to Windows!!! All help appreciated!! aRTee
It is there, don't know if you have to indicate anything special to have it installed, ... just open a Konsole, and type oowriter and see what happens. If it doesn't start but gives an error: command not found, install it via RPMdrake.

zero0w
If you have installed OpenOffice.org, you should be able to find it in the menu. In command line, try this: $ oowriter
