ttellefsen
I have downloaded and installed Mandrake community 10.0. When I go to MCC and select Software management. Then select software update, Mandrake asks to contact Mandfraksoft website to get mirrors list. I say okay to this. I have tried all three mirrors in the US and got the same error that follows: Unable to add media retrieving failed; curl failed; exited with 9 or signal 0 retrieval of source hdlist (or synthesis) failed No hdlist file found for medium "Update_source" Poblem reading sythesisfile or medium "Update_source" Checksums are fine. Computer is online with network (Using it now) What gives
roland
I had the same problem with French mirrors: first the one I usually used was not there, second, the others were not good. May be over busy. So I took a dutch one, very good Don't hesitate to take an other one even at the other side of the atlantic or pacific: I don't think it's a problem. ttellefsen
I tried the dutch mirror. Seems to be the only one that works. Thanks for the info.
