Guest arioch
I just changed the root password on my main desktop machine (Mdk 9.1.) But i get re-prompted using my new password when i want to install an RPM package. I have no trouble SU'ing and i can login to my root account from the outside using my new password. Why does it fail in some parts of the system? When i canged the password i got "all tokens updated successfully" but apparently not.
SoulSe
Sorry, I'm a little confused... do you mean it prompts for your OLD password when installing rpms? How did you change your password? If you used the MCC, try doing it again from the terminal: su yourself and then type passwd and input the new one again...
