mdg
Check in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 if you have the "z-axis" line in the Input Device section. It should look like this: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Mouse1" Driver "mouse" Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2" Option "Device" "/dev/psaux" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" EndSection I don't know how your mouse is set up, so don't copy the other lines unless you think they fit your config
Peppercorn
Thanks but no go!! What I did to get it working was to throw away the ps2 adapter and hook the mouse up as a usb mouse, and now I have no problems. Thanks for your help. aRTee
Hmmm, mdk 10rc2???? Does it say rc2 in the installer at the top? Or do you mean beta 2? Didn't think rc2 is out, if it is, where/how did you get it? And in any case, if it is rc2, could you please file a bugreport on this? qa.mandrakesoft.com Edited February 27, 2004 by aRTee
