Kernel Rpms

Dose anyone know how you make a kernel rpm, I have compile my kernel by following DOLson's tutorial :lol: but want to be able to put it into a rpm so i dont have to recompile eveytime i reinstall mandrake.

 

or does any one have a athlon optimised kernel rpm that i can download

I guess you could try using checkinstall, but you'll have to use it with a script for make modules_install and the copying... you'll have to edit your grub config by hand though, or make symlinks to the files you copied over (could be bad if you mess something up and don't know how to recover).
