Guest markjs
I want to set it up to take rpms from online sources, for both Mandrake and contributed rpms. I can't seem to do it though, I have always tried to add the url, and the path to the hdlist.cz file in the gui (rpmdrake) and it always says it cannot update and the source will be disabled. More details of what I have tried can be found here: http://linuxnewbie.org/forum/showthread.ph...&threadid=75637 Can anybody help me figure this out, and find a good source with a lot of avaialable rpms? I reaally need very specific instructions on how to do this I guess cuz I just can't seem to get it.
Ronin
Try this url for an excellent tutorial on urpmi: http://speculation.org/garrick/urpmifaq.txt He's got it set up that if you are having trouble doing it yourself you can cut and paste what he has and you're off to the races.
