Gowator
Does anyone know how to fake having a floppy installed. Im actually trying the Debian NetInstall but it seems to require that insmod floppy actualy doesn't fail. Seems strange but its falling over on that on the error log each time. I only have one floppy and its broken (deliberately to resit tempatation), it received a screwdriver with a sharp twist inside it when i couldn't take it out of my laptop (I hate floppies and it was kinda built in so it seemed a good idea to destroy it before I actually created some legacy data by writing to it!) .... the rest were destroyed along with a pile of 10baseT and coax network cards a while ago when I couldn't even give them away! Now it Appears debain NetInstall requires it! (strange as it may seem to require a legacy device) Is there any trick with a cable (which I can pull out of the laptop) and shorting some pins out???
