Campy19
Where can I find the source for my running kernel 2.6.3.1?? I posted about a NVIDIA driver, but I think I might have a mismatch between the source and the kernel...thanks in advance...Chris

Campy19
The only thing thereis the source file I already have running...then my NVIDIA issues are more of a pain than I thought.
Lord Kenneth
I looked myself because I wanted the source-- it's apparently not available yet. That sucks.
bvc
never is for a couple of days....for some reason. I always wait til both are there if I 'need' the source.
Guest Adriano
I am currently running 2.6.1, personally compiled (nice to learn how to patch, and to check the new configuration screens). I tried to update to 2.6.3.1 (with the "stripped" source) but the nvidia driver won't work: it compiles and installs (with occasional hiccups), but when running it the screen is garbled. Anyone noticed the same thing?
aRTee
Q: So where did you get the stripped source for 2.6.3-1mdk??
healingbear
kernel-2.6.3.1mdk You can search for RPM's at RPM Search
aRTee
Thanks, already found it,... btw when I asked it was not on any search engine I normally use (rpmfind, google) and even on the cooker list people where asking for it... Found it on one of the mirrors. I didn't try rpm.pbone, thanks for that link.
Guest Adriano
Q: So where did you get the stripped source for 2.6.3-1mdk?? I didn't. They weren't those sources... My mistake.
Lord Kenneth
It's available in cooker now. I compiled it for my K7 system and it's apparently running fine.
