Guest ansel420
I am a recovering NT administrator and new to Linux. I need to get a production SNF 7.2 system to forward IP protocol 47 (GRE) to a VPN server on the DMZ. This functionality does not seem to be included in the design. How can I go about adding this functionality to my SNF box without compromising security? Would I be better off to use a different type of firewalling product to get the job done? It appears that SNF 7.2 uses IPVSADM to port forward, but as this is not a port that needs forwarded (but rather a protocol), I am unsure how to proceed. Thanks in advance! Guest ansel420
For some stupid reason, I overlooked the VPN Masquerade HOWTO http://www.linuxselfhelp.com/HOWTO/VPN-Mas...HOWTO.html#toc3 It explains how to handle this exact problem.
