gila_catur
Hi, I upgraded the 2.6.1 Kernel RPMs from cooker and after doing so, I noticed that when I boot with the new kernel the nice MDK9.2 boot splash in missing. Now all I get are the black background with lines of words scrolling down. I editted the /etc/lilo.conf file and as usual just replace the 2.6.1 references to the existing 2.4.x stanzas and run lilo -v. I didn't change anything else. However, when I boot into the 2.4.x kernel, the boot splash is there. Please advise. Thanks. Eric
liquidzoo
I had that problem too, but I believe mine was with kernel 2.6.0 and it was cleared up with 2.6.1. Not sure, though. You can try going into MCC -> boot and see if you can re-apply the boot theme. That very well might work.

I see that under Boot Loader that I am running 800x600 16-bit Framebuffer only. So what gives? Eric
