Gowator
Not from me but what are you trying to connect to. GAIM supprts many chat cleints so try and be a bit more specific, perhaps its your client specific???
Ronin
Hard to tell what's wrong. We could use a bit more information. :-) But I'm going to take a stab in the dark here. Have you tried updating Gaim to the latest? What is happening to you reminds me of the problem that was happening with messenger not that long ago. iphitus
THe gaim included in 9.2 is out of date and is unable to connect to MSN servers and I think Y! as well. please update your gaim.
tyme
you will need ATLEAST the following two files: gaim-0.75-1.2.92mdk.i586.rpm libgaim-remote0-0.75-1.2.92mdk.i586.rpm which, once downloaded, can be installed by going to the directory they are in with a terminal and running: rpm -Uvh *gaim*.rpm
Urza9814
you will need ATLEAST the following two files:gaim-0.75-1.2.92mdk.i586.rpm libgaim-remote0-0.75-1.2.92mdk.i586.rpm No...just the first...at least thats all I used...worked fine for me CODErpm -Uvh *gaim*.rpm you will probably have to force it...at least I did...not sure exactly what it is...either rpm -Uvh --force *gaim*.rpm or rpm -Uvh -force *gaim*.rpm
