simon_c
Hello, I know its a small point, but is there any way of getting rid of "file:/" which you find at the start of the address bar in konqueror (when browsing local files)? it is getting a little annoying since other programs prefer paths to start with "/" only... Thanks, Simon [a newbie who has just successfully installed kernel 2.62. yeay me! :D]
Gowator
Unfortunately I think this might be harder than it appears. konqueror support a LOT of protcols from cdaudio:// to http:// or smb:// The URL part of say http:// can be skipped becuase its implicit in the address whereas local files can be of any type. I guess its do able, just not easy.
