Guest nashdan Posted February 7, 2004 Report Share Posted February 7, 2004 I'm not sure why the modem was hanging up but I shut down and disconected the power so the modem would reset, most P4 MBs don't power down, and after rebooting the connection works. I have been in the computer business for 15 years and I feel like I need a bag of vodoo bones to troubleshoot Linux.
