phunni Posted January 28, 2004 Report Share Posted January 28, 2004 I want to add a display setting to my current XF86Config-4 file for my laptop, but I don't want to run the config program (not on mandrake BTW - so I can't use those tools) can anyone confirm if I will be able to add the following to my list of display entires in the screen section. SubSection "Display" Depth 32 Modes "1400x1050 1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" EndSubSection Assuming I change the default depth to 32 and my harware can cope (these are the settings windows is using succesfully) I am hoping that this will give me a resolution of 1400x1050 at a depth of 32 Can I just add that and expect it to work?
