APM or APCI

How can i tell if my laptop is APM or APCI?

 

And what are the details of using each in manrake 9.2. I know one is built in right? and the other has to be compiled in?

Uhhhh...manual? Uhh...makers wbsite? Uhh...install mdk and run both or one or something and see? ;) Most machines use both now days....laptops? I d/k....still both i think. I don't have one but have help a friend with one quite a bit (toshiba).

Both apm and acpi are in 9.2. From what I've heard acpi had a bug in the default kernel so you'll want to upgrade it asap, which you'd want to do anyway.
