Guest jotajota
Seems like php is shipped without session support. I've installed php-devel to compile the session.so extension but it refuses to work Anyone has experience on this issue to lend a hand? :)
Guest HaloScan
I'm running Mandrake 9.0 final and sessions support seems to work just fine. Maybe the beta just has a problem.
Guest jotajota
Is there a way to update php from the release version? I am on dialup these days and it would be horrible to d/l the isos. 9.0 hasn't hit the stores around here yet.
Guest HaloScan
I'm sure you could just install the rpms from the 9.0 version. If you goto Mandrake's site, in the download section, they have both a "ISO download" and a way to download files one by one. I'm sure you could grab the php rpms from there (they're not that big) and install. If sessions still don't work, then a download of the 9.0 final's Apache (around 26 meg download) may also fix things.
