Urza9814 Posted January 17, 2004 Report Share Posted January 17, 2004 Ok, I'm trying to install 'LimeWireLinux.bin', and I get the following error message when I run it on Konsole: kaffe-bin: utf8const.c:394: utf8ConstInit: Assertion `hashTable != ((void *)0)' failed. /home/urza9814/Documents/LimeWireLinux.bin: line 1: 4007 Segmentation fault "/usr/lib/kaffe/bin/java" -Djava.compiler=NONE -Xmx100331648 -Xms16777216 com.zerog.lax.LAX "/tmp/install.dir.3902/temp.lax" "/tmp/env.properties.3902" anyone know what's wrong? looks like I need JAVA compiler, right? but I dunno where to get one :-S Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

fuzzylizard Posted January 17, 2004 Report Share Posted January 17, 2004 Not sure if this will help, but if you did everything in the tutorial, did you reboot your machine? If not, then the java directory will not be in your path. You need to get linux to reread your .profile/.bashrc (whichever file you used to add java to your PATH variable) file.
