Guest dwightpaige79
Just installed Mageia Alpha 1 and very much looking forward to testing it. So far looks pretty darn good for a Pre-Alpha release. I've run into a snag though. Can't get the Core Release repo enabled. Error: Unable to update medium, errors reported: ...retrieving failed: aria2 failed: exited with 3 problem reading synthesis file of medium "Core Release (distrib1)" Is anyone else seeing this? Is there anything like easyurpmi for Mageia? Admittedly I don't know much about Magiea ins and outs yet. I do use Mandriva Cooker though. Will keep looking and learning. Guest dwightpaige79
Ok, this was a waste of a post. Coffee hadn't kicked in yet. [Mardi Gras]. # urpmi.addmedia --distrib ftp://ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de/pub/Mirrors/Mageia/distrib/cauldron/x86_64 Fixed it. Dwight appologize for wasting time/bandwidth...
