URPMI Sources

Generally the best sources for urpmi are ones that are close to you and ones that are fast.

Even though I live in the states, most of my urpmi sources are from the club-internet.fr site in France. It's the closest to Mandrakes headquarters, so it's one of the first to get the new updates.

It's generally a personal preference. As for the bad signatures...if it's a plf rpm that you're trying there is a gpg key that you can import (instructions can be found at their website: http://plf.zarb.org ) that will stop the bad signatures error.

If it were just a case of bad signatures it would have been ok, Cause I used to have that problem in the past. But now I am not even able to install anyof the programs. It just terminates. Aslo as the second reply pointed out I got the md5 ... error. I got these errors even if I manually d/l the files and tried the installation. That's why I was wondering if there was another site I could get the rpm's off of?
