Guest severian
After installing Mandrake and playing around with settings in Nautilus, I disabled the preference to have Nautilus draw the desktop...and now the Preference choice does not even exist, so I can't change it back. My God! What have I done?
bvc
When you choose to not have nautilus draw the desktop it changes some/all of the menu/desktop entries to /usr/bin/nautilus --no-desktop to get it back, either change this to /usr/bin/nautilus in menudrake, open nautilus and the option will be there again, or open a terminal and type nautilus and the option will be there again.
