ogle and xserver

I upgraded my IBM thinkpad 600e from Mandrake 9.0 to 9.2. In the process I broke Ogle and it will no longer play DVDs. I've reinstalled the RPM's but i'm still unable to play DVD's. I lowered the screen resolution to 16bit and am getting the below error. When i try to play a dvd through totem, the programs crashes. I have a feeling it has something to do with the xserver as this worked fine before the upgrade. Anybody have a suggestion?

Upgrades are a nightmare. I would be sure and update the system (there were over 300MB of updates before the public release of 9.2) If ogle still won't work, I would backup my pertinent files and do a fresh install. My dvd works fine in 9.2, but I use a different player.

Actually, I would uninstall ogle, update the system, and then reinstall ogle.

This is what I've done since my last post.

1) I installed the updates for mandrake 9.2,and then installed the ogle RPMS... no luck.

2) Did a fresh install of 9.2, still ogle won't run.

3) I went back to 9.0 and ogle played dvd's without a hitch. :)

One thing i noticed was Gnome would give me a blank screen but would play the sound. KDE always gives me the above resource error. I tried installing an older version if libxine, but that didn't work. Totem crashes everytime i open it. Maybe its time to play around with other players.
