Do I use mc (or vi or emac) to edit this? and what should I look for? Can I go directly to this line?? I'm running mdk9.2 by the way,Thanks in advance.

Ok, I used the command mcedit ./configure and found this @ line 14582:

s/^\\([_$as_cr_alnum]*_cv[_$as_cr_alum]*\\=\\(.*\\)/\\1=`\\2`/p"

all of which means nothing :wall: to a newbie like me  So does any of this make sense to anyone? what do I need to change?
