Hi,

everybody is always speaking about samba (you have to install the samba server on the mandrake-machine so that samba-clients /your windowsmachine can look at it: this is a frequent question..is there somthing abiout it in FAQ? else I think it should be, not?), but first I want to ask if it isn't possible to mount a remote-partition(xfs or so). Can this be done? Is it faster than samba ...how fast is samba? Ofcourse this can only be done for linux(mac?) and mayeb other OSS, but not windows I suppose.
