dibblethewrecker Posted December 5, 2003 Report Share Posted December 5, 2003 I am having no luck using xvideo with DVD players (mplayer and vlc) in Man 9.1. The only video output i can use is x11 and the performance is very poor. I know there is an xfree patch to improve framebuffer performance for xvideo and was wondering if anyone can help me get it working. Apparently it is as easy as copying a driver http://ltswww.epfl.ch/~dsanta/resources/linux but I am having big difficulties. Has there been an rpm compiled that inlcudes this support for xvideo?
