Hi Arctic,
I receive a
bash: drakconf: command not found
I remember I have recently ran some of the Mandrake updates, could this be related to the MCC going walkabout?
-
when I try /usr/sbin/drakconf as root, I still get an
bash: /usr/sbin/drakconf: No such file or directory
message.
-
I receive a
bash : /usr/bin/menudrake: No such file or directory
message
Have I somehow uninstalled some of my Mandrake system components?
-
When I try that I receive the following...
bash : menudrake: command not found
-
I press ALt F2 and entered "menudrake". I then clicked "options" - I selected to run as root and entered my password. WhenI hit the "RUN" button, thats when nothing seem to happen.

Hi Arctic,
Thank you for the reply.
I am a Linux newbie, I am using Mandrake 10. I did not notice it was even missing until I tried to execute rpmdrake to install some new software.
I am not even sure I know how to check if it is accessable via konsle - could you please tell me how I check?
Thank you for your kind help

Some how I seemed to have lost the “Mandrake Control Center” menu option for all users on my machine? Any ideas how this went missing, any how I can get it back?
Cheers!

I am a complete Linux noob ( I have had it installed for about 1 week now), after reading about 20 different forums I have managed to get my Linksys WMP54G wireless PCI card working using ndiswrapper with my Mandrake 10 distro.
I would now like to get the drivers to load on boot, could someone please tell me which file I need to place the driverloader command so that it is executed on boot.
Cheers in advance

Just looking for a bit of advice really – what are the best packages/applications around for linux for drawing web graphics etc. I guess I am looking for a package like Macromedia's fireworks, is there anything similar around for Linux?
