Thanks ... But i just got it to works ....seams it had a corrupt package or somthing to the sort ... I reinstalled my os ... and just plugged it in and it worked ... thanks you for the help though....

the 2.6.3-13 kernel is availible through the install packages area of the control center.. just serch for kernel hope it helps

I think I may have the answer i am running ver 10.0 with the 2.6.3-13 kernel anif you wait until booted up all the way before inserting the card (i have the same one) it works great Hint: as odd as this seems i did not have to do the setup for it just plug it in .... its all dhcp with a linksys router / ap if you need exacts lets me know

I have a 60GB Firewire HDD (WD) and iIt works GREAT in RedHat 9.0 but I have no clue how to use it in mandrake .... this is what I did (as root) its formatted ext3 mkdir /mnt/firewire added the following line in the /etc/fstab with vi /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 /mnt/firewire ext3 auto,noauto, 0 0 this added the mount point /mnt/firewire and the nessesary fstab entry ,but, when I attempt to mount it I get the following error I know it works ... I use it on my redhat machine daily (2.4.xx kernel) is there a known issue with firewire and the 2.6.3-13 kernel ????

I use Gnomemeeting under redhat and now migrated to mandrake 10 i need my web cam to work. /usr/sbin/lsusb returns Bus 001 Device 002: ID 046d:0001 Logitech, Inc. QuickCam Pro Bus 001 Device 001: UI 0000:0000 Any ideas

harddrake sees the scanner half . but the printer is under unkown ???? (psc 1200 series)

I am new to mandrake. I used redhat for a few years with great luck . But a friend suggested mandrake for my laptop .. (sound did not work in RH) Everything works great in mandrale 10. but who do you install a printer ????? it a hp 1210xi
