  1. Hi I am going to be setting up two machines with mandrake in the next few weeks, one as a fileserver and the other as a work station. Also on my network are several windows XP machines. I would like to set up the file sharing so that any user can log onto anyone of these machines and have their files mounted for them. For example: Machines: A, B, C are running XP D is mandrake desktop E is mandrake file server If a user logged onto A, I'd like his files to be taken from E and mounted as a shared drive. If the user logged onto D the files should be either mounted as a drive or as a directory like ~/files. I imagine the files would b stored on E in directories corresponding to usernames. So essentially what I want to do is upon login mount the logged in user's files. Is this possible using samba? If so how do I set it up? Cheers
