I am using a cable monterolla modem. I want to change my mac address under mandrake 10.0. Does anyone out there have the correct information on how to change the mac address perminantly because google doesnt seem to have the wright information. . ifdown eth0 ifconfig eth0 hw ether a3:35:de:34:5e:23:34:df ifup eth0 Determining IP information for eth0... <----- freezes, nothing happens with no internet connection. Much help appreciated thanks.
