Hi there, I've just installed MDk 10ce (download version) on a new pc. It boots fine, and KDE 3.2 starts up. Then about 30mins later - depending on what I'm doing, the pc locks up. I cannot switch to a console, and I cannot kill the x server with ctrl-alt-bkspace. Any ideas anyone? Thanks

I've been having problems with DNS and wanted to change to a different server - which it seems cannot be done from the Control Centre. So I found the posts on this board about editing resolv.conf to enter/reorder the DNS servers. So far so good. But when I reboot/start the pc up again MDK10 has put 127.0.0.1 at the top of the list of DNS servers causing my lookups to take ages again. Is there a way of stopping this behaviour? Thanks N
