Couple of questions - Re: Problems with LG-brand CD-ROMs & Mandrake version 9.2. Background: Installation of ver. 9.2 will cause LG brand CD-ROM drives to become "inoperative" !! 1)Does this "conflict" also apply to LG brand CD-RW drives ?? 2) Does this problem only occur DURING INSTALLATION, in other words, if after 9.2 is installed could I use an LG-brand CD-ROM drive as a replacement for my present Artec CD-ROM drive ?? NOTE: I have heard that Dell uses "unlabeled" LG brand CD-ROM drives.
