qmake, if me not wrong, is part of qt3, you got an error ocz, might be that qt3 is not yet installed in your system... so if you know how to urpmi, try to install those listed package first, in order for you to build that source software...
#urpmi.update -a -v ( it will update all your urpmi sources)

#urpmi qt3 libusb g++ (this will install the listed package, if package name are correct)

I'm using the info on this post but I get this

[root@localhost moto4lin-0.3]# urpmi qt3 libusb

Packages libusb0.1_4-0.1.12-12mdv2009.0.i586, qt3-common-3.3.8b-8mdv2009.0.i586 are already installed

and when I try the qmake (INSTALL file said that)\

I think Linux is better than windows

1. Windows --->>PAY like a stupid --->software (PAY!!!)

2. windows ---> unstable and easy to break and you don't learn anything....it uses 1 partition and it's very slow compare with linux usin 3 partitions and compiz and everything...

3. Windows ---->> tell you what to do....Linux --->> Obey

4. XP -->> possibly a good release but unstable (the worst ever is ME used to destroy pcs :P and Vista is the 2nd in that list I think)

5. windows --->> makes you believe it has hardware support (no the company makes it 4 windows)...Linux ---> makes it's own drivers and teach you (while you're configuring it) what you have there ....what is it.....you have to do your homework :)

Damn linux is better than windows....the people that uses windows probably doesn't know that linux exist or is afraid.....or simply likes windows (they should kill them self)....

You can't learn it all from any one book or resource. I've been using Linux as my primary OS for over 7 years now, and used it occasionally for 2 years before that... I still learn something new every day I use it. :)

I would suggest for the most complete on-line resource for you to use would be: TLDP

For a book you can purchase or read on-line there's 'Linux in a nutshell'. Here's a link for the cli commands from the book and it contains a link to purchase it or read it on-line: Alphabetical Directory of Linux Commands

Other 'very' good resources are the: wiki.mandrivausers.org and the: wiki.mandriva.com/Docs

And don't forget, we're also here to help! :)

yeah I've been in the linux documentation project and I had that linux in a nutshell but I lost it when I screwed my first linux installation :o (lmao) but right now I'm studying hard the kernel cuz everything I've heard is connected in some way with the kernel (core) so I'm reading linux kernel in a nutshell and Understanding the linux kernel ...those books have a lot of info but what really makes me think is how can I do what you've done?..those values and files you made me create and write some commands (how do I learn about those things)....it's very cool! thx and I hope this will help someone with the same problem....
