i reinstall mandrake 10 (5th time), install hsf modem driver from linuxant, then run hsfconfig, sadly i got this:

got this problem, everytime i install software, it ask for cd4. specially for the case of wineutils and others. i just want to ask where can i download it?

im having problem with 2.6.3-7mdk with regards to modem, so im planning to upgrade my kernel to 2.6.3-9mdk, just want to ask you guys know some link on where to get it. i tried rpmfind, but i found nothing.

linuxant has no hsf driver for 2.6.3-7mdk, so i'd better look for the new kernel..

execute uname -r i got this: 2.6.3-7mdk.

do i have to recompile my kernel to 2.6.3-9 or find a suitable hsf driver?

any guides on how to do that?

i just installed modem driver from linuxant, unfortunately kppp cant detect any modem installed. i really appreciate if you guys can post here step by step guide on how to configure modem openly targetted for a newbie like me.

im using mandrakelinux 9.2, can anyone help on this, i cant play vcds and dvds, everytime i play a disc using mplayer i get this; "Error opening/initializing the video_out(-vo) device". it works on xine only that it gives me a disgusting sounds.
