  1. How do you load a Raid Card Driver during install for Mandrake Linux?
  2. Found something on that else-where, going to try it... My Dual Boot 400SC is having problems when I try to install anything off CD 2 of 9.2 or 10 RC1. What is the deal with that??? It takes forever to do anything off Disc 2!!
  3. I just went with Redhat 9, and it installed like a dream. I am really new to linux, and have only installed it about 5 times, 1st time for RedHat. It is going on the Server really smoothly. Hello, I am trying to install Mandrake 9.2 on my Dual PIII 1.13GHz server w/ 1024MB RAM and 3x 60GB HDDs in RAID 5 on a Promise SX4000 PCI RAID controller. It won't recognize the controller or the drives. Can someone help me figure out how to load the driver for it in setup?
  4. Linux is up and running on my machine, but if I tell the BIOS to expose the full 1GB of RAM, linux will act as it says in the errata report about loading, but it IS installed and running on 256MB (That is what the BIOS limits it to for OS install Mode). I just can't take it off OS Install Mode. Do you think that would be fixed in 9.2?
  5. I just installed Linux Mandrake 9.1 on my PowerEdge 400sc Server. I had to use the install mode as recommended by the handbook (OS Install Mode limits my memory to 256MB) to install Linux. After installation, I cannot turn install mode off because linux will not boot. I do not know if it is a problem with 1GB of RAM or the Dual Channel Configuration. Please Help. Thanks.
