i meant.. after bios ishud not see anything say a timeout of 1 sec.. now i've config lilo to just display..... LILO 22.5.1 boot: (and here i enter the arguments...) say 1 for windows (default) say 2 for linux. but i also want to remove LILO 22.5.1 boot : but still send arguments in a span of 1 minute

i have windows xp and mandrake 9.2 installed on my computer. and boot loader lilo. is there any way to edit mbr to hide lilo and directly load xp and at times get it back. or instead.customize lilo so that i dont see LILO 22.4.1 boot : but still take argments say 1 to enter windows and 2 for linux........

hi can somebody help with my installation Mandrake 9.2 i have amd xp 2400+ asus motherboard A7N266VM (nvidia geforce2 integerated CPU) usb keyboard,usb mouse LG Flatron ES700 monitor etc... after installation it hangs after Starting APM daemon service...... Then i went into fail-safe mode and tried startx keyboard and mouse stoppped working then i edited /et/modules.conf changed probeall usb-interface usb-ohci to probeall usb-interface usb-uhci hid ehci-hcd after changing this it hangs after finding new hardware .... so i disabled this service also and started startx now my keyboard works but mouse does not can somebody help me with both keyboard and mouse and during installation mandrake did not probe my monitor also, gave it as generic....

while booting...... u wud see Press I for interactive setup....... Press i/I as soon as you see this and then mdk will ask u the services to be installed. as soon as you see Do you want to start service APM Y/N....type n and proceed
