I have a: Asus A7N8X Deluxe rev 2 (Nforce2 chipset) 1 gig of DDR 400 (Samsung) running in dual channel config 40 gig maxtor 40 gig Western Digital MSI Geforce FX 5600 256meg Ultra LG-CDROM (FIRMWARE UPDATED) SONY CDRW I used to run Mandrake 9.1, but had problems with getting gl running with my other vid card, a Radeon 9500, so I bought the 5600 Nvidia board and 9.1 wouldn't give me any screen after install (after choosing to boot linux). With the Radeon setup I used a dual boot with XP and it worked well. I decided to try the 9.2 version in hopes that one of these cards could work. I install with 9.2, using the Nvidia vid card, and I choose to boot linux from the lilo graphical. After that the computer just sits there and goes nowhere. I have tried all of the other linux boot options and they just say bios check, uncompressing kernel and they too go nowhere. any ideas on what is happening ???? Cheers, DH
